Presidential Election Popular Votes Percentage (Dem, GOP, Libertarian, Green) can be defined as the percentage of voters who voted for each party in the presidential election in each state.
The value for Presidential Election Popular Votes Percentage (Dem) is obtained by dividing the number of votes cast for the Democratic party by the total number of votes cast in the election. Similarly, the percentages for the other parties' shares of the popular vote is obtained by dividing the number of votes cast for the given party by the total number of votes cast in the election.
